I am terrified they will fly out all over the street; a scene typically reserved for nightmares and movies. There is no entry for “incinerator” in the yellow pages, and way too much to consider shredding, so a neighborhood dumpster must do. I move a bit too efficiently, like a jittery murderer disposing of a corpse. The bag looks just as any other piece of garbage does. I have done well. “good,” I say and shudder. |
